"Life begins at the end of your comfort zone"

Neale Donald Walsch

About Me

I am passionate about helping people overcome obstacles and make better choices that inspire them to live their best life.

After graduating from Rivier University with a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling and landing my "dream job," I did not feel I was doing the work I was put here to do. My intuition led me down a different path. I now live my purpose running Entrepreneurs in Recovery® workshops, trainings, and events with individuals, recovery community organizations, companies, learning environments, and addiction and mental health centers. My work is helping to build communities of recovery.

I started Entrepreneurs in Recovery® in 2017 as a way to transform the lives of 5000 men and women in addiction recovery through one-on-one coaching, facilitation, and speaking. I've expanded my work into communities, recovery community organizations, workplaces, organizations,  addiction treatment centers and sober living facilities throughout the United States. I'm a XCHANGE certified guide and faculty member with a deep passion for choreographing conversations to bring out the best in individuals, organizations, communities, and learning environments. You can learn more about my facilitation work and training @ RecoveryFacilitation.com

My addiction and mental health recovery story started in 2005 when I was arrested. At 22 years old, I was looking at spending many years of my life in federal prison due to my addiction to heroin, cocaine, and prescription opioids. Facing serious consequences for my actions, I began changing my daily habits and got serious about my recovery. I followed a recovery toolkit I now call F.E.A.R.S. - Focus, Elevate, Appreciate, Resilience, Self-care. These are practices I now share with the world.

I recently published my first book about an uncommon recovery ritual called Smash Your Comfort Zone with Cold Showers.

In my book, you'll learn about...

• Why you should give cold showers a try
• The research-backed advantages of cold showers
• How to overcome unwanted habits
• How to increase self-discipline and develop self-confidence
• How to conquer anxiety and reduce depression, and…
• How you can change your story by shattering self-imposed barriers.

This book is about much more than turning a handle while bathing. Smash Your Comfort Zone with Cold Showers is about reclaiming your lifeyour recoveryyour self-confidence, and your potential

I offer facilitation services both online and in-person. I've been hired to facilitate events and workshops around the country with leaders in addiction and mental health recovery, recovery community organizations, companies, and learning environments.

"Ever since we have started working together, Jesse has helped me take charge of my life and become a power of example and inspiration to others. His knowledge took my newly developed business to levels that I could not have created alone. I’m extremely thankful for what coaching with Jesse has done for me; it has helped me gain clarity, set and achieve goals, and release blocks to instantaneous results and success.

Beyond a business standpoint, coaching has helped me live a life of abundance and show up as the best version of myself. Jesse is constantly conditioning me to make the most of my life and take advantage of any opportunities that come my way."

"I was feeling restless and uninspired in my current job position.  Working as intake staff for a nonprofit law firm gives me opportunity to serve my community but I did not feel I am aligned with my calling.  By chance I attended an event where Jesse gave an inspiring lecture about focusing on daily recovery, elevating your mind, being appreciative, reflecting on an action plan and practicing self-care.

I knew intuitively Jesse was the sign I had been looking for.  I reached out to him for guidance on a program for coaching children I had been contemplating. I hired Jesse to be my business coach, but he turned out to be so much more. Working with him has shifted my perspective to see there is so much more possible for me than I thought. He has helped me to value and even celebrate who I am. I am so much more confident now, as a result.

Jesse’s coaching is not conventional. He is very spiritually based and coaches from the heart. He is vulnerable and open to showing his authentic self, which gives me permission to be my authentic self. It’s as if he is guiding me back to myself. He embodies and believes in the methods he is teaching. He is living the life he has always wanted and wants that same experience for you. He creates a space where he helps you become aware of what may be holding you back. And then helps you reframe that thinking.

I got more out of the experience than I was expecting. He has helped me to create joy and happiness in my everyday life, and to embrace living from my heart. Working with him has deepened my spiritual awareness. I feel like he is helping me to change the trajectory of my life. I’m glad I took the leap of faith to start this coaching with him. He is a bright light my life and he has shown up for me in ways I didn’t think were possible."
